Dr. Sandeep Khanna
Principal, MAEER’s MIT Pune’s Vishwashanti Gurukul School,
I feel privileged to serve as Principal, MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul School (Loni Kalbhor) Pune and it is indeed a matter of pride to pen down the message for the school community. My heart fills with immense pleasure, as I perceive the progress being made at MIT VGS, Loni, PUNE.
I extend my warm wishes to the Parents, Staff and Students of MIT VGS family to continue this journey on the road of excellence. Our School website will give a clear idea of values and facilities that are available to the students, from Play Group to class X.
Moving towards its sixth year, our school has earned an excellent reputation in the field of academics together with cultural and sporting events. The success of MIT VGS in such a short span of time is due to the hard work and dedication of the Teaching & Non teaching Staff, Students, well wishers, active cooperation of parents and Management, who believe in constant improvement.
The school offers a variety of learning opportunities. The entire purpose of education is not to restrict itself to imparting bookish knowledge only but also to inculcate humanitarian values like wisdom, compassion, courage, humility, integrity and reliability in a student.
We ensure a combination of academic and non–academic activities. We value our students as individuals who are encouraged to explore their talents with an aim to build a strong character along with innate sense of right and wrong. We encourage students to become analytical thinkers. Our highlights include innovative teaching methodology, attention to individual students due to the small class strength, experienced faculty and student-friendly environment. We emphasize the connection between the mind, body and soul.
The role of a school in holistic education has increased manifold with the increasing influence of technology. MIT VGS ensures that every academic session is accompanied with excitement and positive energy. It is necessary to familiarize the children with the holistic Indian culture that upholds human values. We follow CBSE curriculum that is a blend of the NCERT framework and modern pedagogical practices relevant for real life applications. The curriculum weaves together inventive thinking, multiple intelligences and differentiated learning.
I can very proudly say that we, at MIT VGS, prepare each child to become independent thinker and develop integrated personalities ready with 21st Century skills. Our School is at the doorstep of a new challenge and opportunities with a pledge of making itself a centre of excellence where a stress free and caring environment is there for nurturing the young minds.
For this, we seek your vital co-operation and support for all times to accomplish the high standards. We are confident that MIT VGS is the best place for your child. We welcome your active interest and involvement in the progress and development of your ward.
