JEE Main 2025 Syllabus: NTA (National Test Agency) will release the JEE Main 2025 syllabus in the information brochure alongside the JEE application form in November 2024. However, aspirants should start the preparation for the JEE main right now to excel in the examination. JEE 2025: Exam Pattern​

JEE 2025 exam will be conducted in two phases: Session 1 (January) & Session 2 (April). The exam will be conducted for admission to B.E/B. Tech, B.Arch. & B.Planning. There will be two papers in one session. Paper 1 is for admission to B.E./B.Tech. Program whereas paper 2 is for admission to B.Arch./B.Planning.

JEE Main Paper 1 Insight:
  1. Type of Questions: There will be two sections for each subject (Physics, Chemistry, & Mathematics). Section A will have 20 multiple-choice questions whereas Section B will have 10 Numerical Value Questions (NVQ).
  2. Marking Scheme: 4 marks will be given for each correct (MCQs & NVQ) while one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer for MCQs. No negative marks will be given for NVQs.
  3. Duration: 3 hours
JEE Main Paper 2 Insight:
  1. Paper 2A will be for the B.Arch course consisting of multiple choice questions in Mathematics (Part I) & Aptitude (Part II). Two questions from drawing (Part III) will also be included to check the basic knowledge of drawing in aspirants for the B.Arch program.
  2. Paper 2B will be for B. Planning course consisting of Mathematics-(Part I), Aptitude Test-(Part II), and Planning (Part III).
  3. Both exams are conducted in CBT (Computer Based Test) format.
  4. The duration of both exams is 3 hours.
